Clothes and Shoes for Dance Classes

Clothes   Wear whatever clothes you feel comfortable in.

Dancing makes you warm, so layers you can take off are better than thick clothes.  A man needn’t wear the kilt unless he wants to.

Shoes    Wearing suitable shoes is very important; soft, flat shoes are recommended.

If you are a beginner or a new member wear shoes you have at the start, provided they are soft and flat. When you want to buy the correct shoes for Scottish Country Dancing - and they are not expensive - we can give you advice to help you to make your choice.
